My research on "cameras used in psychological warfare" suggests a 6% fail rate above current norms. A company of 2000 drivers will experience 120 at any given time experiencing "suicidal ideation," "divorce," "homelessness," "obesity," "type 2 diabetes," "heart attack," "stroke," etc. In psychological warfare, the victim will experience "anxiety, low self esteem and false reality" as they interact with the judgments from inside the hyperserveillance device. Origins are soviet technology repackaged as the nudge economy for depopulation purposes. Economic Historian Gene K Chapman

Nobody is arguing against the use of cameras. That's a red herring argument meant to distract away from the real issue. I actually like the idea of having a camera on my car, my house, or anything at all that would stop crimes against me. The real argument is whether or not the cameras are being used against me, or against the other person! As I said before, I don't want the camera footage broadcast to the company, not because I love to break the law, but because I fear the company not understanding the entire picture of why I did what I did, or purposely exaggerating the significance of petty rules just to gain posture over me. Finally, if something does happen, I want my 5th Amendment rights and not to not be forced to testify against myself. If a camera is set to automatically erase data permanently after about 20 minutes or so, the footage can't be used against me in court, and I can't be blamed for erasing evidence. If it's hooked to the internet, the data will never be erased. Assumptions will be made that the only reasons I did something are all shown within the highly myopic scope of a camera lens.

To that end, I already posted the leading factors above as to what causes accidents in a previous comment. As you can clearly see, stuff like exceeding posted speed limits is NOT even among them. Almost all causes are not things detectable by cameras. I could say this until my face turned blue and so many corporate shills would still not listen. Most of the time, governed trucks can't even exceed the speed limits for long if they tried. Except for short "gotcha" downhill sprints.

I don't come here much anymore because I got a job outside of trucking. I'm actually in a law enforcement related field now, and I have cameras all over me all the time. And guess what: they're used on known criminals and almost exclusively for the purpose of acquitting me of anything they try to say I did. Because believe it or not, I actually don't break the law very often when I'm not in a position to have to. Imagine that. My current employer is not trying to bust me, because they trust me, and because they don't like the idea of running the few people who are willing to do hard work off of the job by throwing them under the truck whenever something happens. In trucking, they've run such people off the job and now are suffering from their short-term thinking because they're now plagued with accident-prone amateurs who get into more accidents. True, the cameras catch them all the time, but all that leads to is preventing them from getting experience because they all quit or get fired now.
