They used to sit there with binocs to see who was wearing their seat belts. But I have noticed that with the new laser cameras they have, they can spot license plates and read them from far away, so they may be finding the bad ones before they cross the scales. Big Brother on Steroids?

Since this guy was in civilian clothes was he right their standing at the scales or back behind some where like out of the way?
Why I am asking their is a guy on another website about trucks and he hangs out at a port in Utah taking pictures of trucks and he has permission. Just not sure what port. -
he was standing at the scales.
big john, do you know what he does with the photos he takes? just wonder if he uses them for something special. -
Maybe they are taking pictures to justify keeping the scale open.
But in reality, they usually take a picture when trucks cross the scale like another poster stated. -
I have never had a picture taken at a scale so I don't know what the other guy's are talking about but this guy just likes trucks and post them on a trucks and trains picture web site called Hanks. It may not be the same scale.
He posted that the scale master told him that a driver called wanting to know who the guy was that was taking pictures and he told him he was an undercover agent. I have a pic of the scale but not sure how to put it on here.sweezly1 Thanks this. -
At night, I get a flash at some of the scales. I was thinking it was a camera.

that's the perverted scale monitor, showing you his "junk"!
