    Marketplace insurance is pretty cheap if you can keep your taxable income below 65k you qualify for subsidies. My HDHP plan is only costing me $50 a month right now, but it has a 6k deductible.

    True, but you qualify for a Special Enrollment Period if you've had certain life events, including losing health coverage, moving, getting married, having a baby, or adopting a child, or if your household income is below a certain amount.
