Companies or small carriers that hire SAP drivers

I just tried them... Not hiring SAP drivers at this time.

Nothing on Craigslist for LA

 

I don't know because I've never been on Facebook. Drivers on this forum posted they found decent jobs on Facebook, including SAP drivers.
American Trucking Group used to place SAP drivers, but now on the opening page it states "We Cannot Place SAP Drivers."

 

I read something a year or so ago about Behr Paint Company in Houston hiring SAP drivers. It's a local job, not OTR or Regional.

 

@Dwellsouth , I saw your post on my profile, I can't message anyone directly because of board rules covering consultants (which I am), however I will answer your question as best I can here.

Since your previous employer can't conduct any more of your required tests, which is true if they are a previous employer as only current and prospective employers can conduct and report a DOT frug or alcohol test, and you only need one more reported to the Clearinghouse to close your RTD process, have your prospective new employer conduct a pre-employment test and report it to the Clearinghouse as both a pre-employment and return to duty test. This is permissible under the return to duty process provided the pre-employment is conducted as a direct observed test in compliance with the follow-up testing requirements. They can then review your SAP guidelines, and confirm all the required follow-up testing was completed, reporting this to the Clearinghouse and closing your RTD file.

If they can't, or won't, do that then you may need to find a different prospective new employer that is willing to complete the RTD process without making you start all over. Many employers do not help with return to duty either because they don't fully understand the process or don't want to be involved in the costly and time consuming testing process. As this becomes more common I expect more employers to figure out how to better help applicants complete the RTD process.

 

Anyone know anything about 1st Platinum Freight? I just did an app with them and supposed to take a drug test next week.

1st Platinum website has 2 yrs. exp. required. Maybe that's out of date information.

I was hired by a company in las vegas, nevada. They gave me a return to duty test, and started team driving a week later. 1099 pay, .65 cpm. I will say it is almost impossible to find a company who will hire you.

 

There's job ads on Craigslist, companies claim to be sap friendly.. landforce corporation, otrruns Inc, souders legacy. They are full of shet, they don't want to hire you when you apply.
