I pay for a house, therefore I am homeless. I can't afford to stay there more than 34 hours every other week. Does that count? if any of you homeless guys want my house, we can talk!

Totally dont get this. I tried to do it for a while because of an emergency situation, as i was homeless and without a job, but.....it didnt work out in the JOB department!

I do live a little bit like this. I have a residence at my parents house, but I really can't stand some of the people there, they expect me to do yard work and dishes and crap when im home, and just plain dont understand that i just worked 180+ hours and have no desire to do work whatsoever. And as for the dishes, i wouldnt use 10 glasses a day if they wouldnt put my glass in the dirty dishes as soon as i look away from it, especially when its FULL. come on, wtf? When im home i pick up my car and leave lol. come back to sleep.

anyhow, i dont see how anyone can do it for real. I'm going to get my own place in a month or two. But seriously, i like to do things. I like to have things. See avatar for example. I can't keep motorcycles or boats or anything in my truck. I have ideas of projects to build but nowhere to build them! For example, i have an idea for a street-legal boat. Yeah. It's an amphibian but this is going to actually look like a boat. Won't look out of place at all in the water, however, it will on the street.

Yeah stuff like that got to me too. In a truck, you get used to making sure everything is secure before you go. You certainly can't leave dishes unwashed or magazines covering the coffee table.

I mean, I grew up in my mom's place but so much has changed since I moved out 10 years ago. The other day I tried to make scrambled eggs, I couldn't find where she kept the pans (since the cabnet she used to keep them in is now overflowing with recycables) or the wisk, all the spatulas were dirty.

I gave up an had a donut. I'm SO glad I've got a new apartment. Almost done moving stuff in too.

I've been doing it for a few years now. I have stuff in storage and use parents' address for tax return. I spend a couple of days there a month to justify residence. I just can't bring myself to pay rent on an apartment when I'm only there every two or three weeks. But I understand the reasons for doing it and I still may at some point.

Interestingly, I got an angry letter from my car insurance company saying they needed a home address or they would cancel my policy. I've been with them for over 6 years and this is the first I'd heard of it. I use a UPS mailbox as my mailing address.
