I unloaded in Rochester at 1030. Then drove here. Got here at 1130 (stopped for coffee).
Now sitting till 0600, the appt is a window from 0700 to 2359. So I will get on early in case it is first come first serve. Not a large shipper though, so should not be bad.
    Then too the house.
Have to deliver west of Indy on Monday at 11am. So I will have to eather leave Sunday afternoon or Monday really really early. Not sure yet.
Thinking Monday, some good riding weather this weekend. Hate to miss it.

Roasting here at the Petro in Rochelle, IL. My god this place is huge... tons of parking! Its so big Blue Beacon has its own parking area! Ate my 16 oz ribeye steak dinner. One of the waitresses there was pretty hot. I sat in the area she was in thinking she would be my waitress... instead I got some amazon woman... 6 ft+ weighing about 20lbs less than I do. :biggrin_25513:. I knew there was a price to pay for my 99 being a drop n hook # conagra. next load going to Washington Court House, OH.

Now im trying to decide whether to idle or not so i dont have to roast in the truck all night. 2 nights no idling for me got to 6% idle time. Its still high 70s to low 80s

Yeah.. Somethings wrong with my volvo though.. I think it must be lieing.. Its nose it almost twice the size of a regular one...

Man.. I seen this sweet t660 stevens tonight.. Had all blue underlight.. One top of tanks, steps for cab and steers.. Plus sweet blue led load lights... I wish we had t660s at central.. Especially studio sleeper versions...

nah.. I'm not a trainer.. Hell I've only been here a couple weeks... Just the other day I was going down the road and my trailer fell off.. I was only going 77 but fortunitly only the clown and chicken was hurt.... Uh-oh.. I must fell asleep at the wheel again... See what I mean.. I don't need to train.. With my sleepin and what not... Lol...

I could recommend a good trainer if you would like.. He was mine and has trained for the company for 2 years amd drove 3... Great marine, awesome teacher and good friend.. Shoot.. He trained one l/o who was only the wall last year for l/o of the day.........................

Well, I finally figured out that my home isn't mythical. Got to drop my load to NorCal at the FDC Wednesday afternoon. Traded it for a local run and my gal came up to see the new truck and make the local Albertsons run early this morning with me. She had the easy part and slept thru the whole run. Got home this afternoon and was treated to a huge spaghetti dinner... Mmmmm mmmmm good!!!

Gonna surprise all my friends for opening night of Cruisin Grand (weekly car show) in Escondido, CA tomorrow night then back on the road on Saturday. Been fibbing on my Brightkite account so they won't think I'll be there.

Somethings wrong with my Volvo too, someone plastered International emblems all over it and made it run decent.

I'd recommend my trainer, but since I got off the truck he's kicked off two of his last three trainees. Something about them being complete morons I think was his explanation. He's only been driving 10 years, thinks of truckin as a business, profits, losses, customer service, safety, blah blah blah. You probably wouldn't get much out of it.
