My Sympathy to you two and any other suffering the disease. My Dad died in 1950 with cancer (prostate) when I was 15, mother in 1984 (stomach) , oldest sister in 1988 (breast), my wife has breast cancer (full remission), all three of our daughters had breast cancer (two full remission) one succumbed.
I asked docs, Why don't I have cancer? His answer: Good Genes? SIL in Lexington,KY is an Oncologist. He says it is not inherited, nor contagious, but it seems to run in families.... (That is why I never shot up much sympathy for those when the HIV came on scene. We had seen worse.)
