Made it back to The Keystone for a night time unload..

 

Tire prices have gotten out of hand in the last few year.. Really hard to answer….with so many variables…type…size etc
BUT if you’re a single truck owner on your own You’d be lucky to get a decent set of drives at retail for 5 grand. Which is at least double what it was just a few c years ago

This was mine on Saturday and I couldn’t slide the rear tandems back any further, had to take the load back and wait until Monday to get the load readjusted. Oh well, part of the trucking life.

 

That sux….Ida probably run it….BUT not in Cali

 

I was going to run it cuz the coops are closed early in the morning however, there were other issues with the trailer, someone had repaired/patched a airline hose under the trailer, it’s ILLEGAL to do that and I didn’t want to take that chance, by the time I returned from delivery point, coops would be open and I’m way over due for an inspection.

 

This was mine a couple weeks ago I took the scenic route..
