In your opinion which tires are better for Dryvan long haul. Trailer tires or all position tires. All position tires have more thread but are they better for the trailer?

If I was buying new, I would get trailer tires. They are more economical.

Deffo trailer tires. Unless you have a specific need for all positions you can usually get trailer tires for as much as a third what an all position costs and still get a very simular life span and economy from them. Sometimes better as the tires will be designed to last as long as posible on the trailer rather then all positions which are designed to fit any role first and formost

Getting some tires Thursday just wanna ask as many questions and get as much inside and soak up as much knowledge as I can in order to make the most intelligent decision I can. I'm a strong believer that knowledge is power and the more you know the better of you are and who better to ask then fellow truckers that have the knowledge and experience. I'll take a truckers word over a pushy salesman any day if the week

Long haul, the shallower depth of the trailer tires greatly reduces the risk of cupping. If I were to run all positions back there, I'd want to wear some tread off by running them on the drives for a while.

Thanks so much for the info much appreciated. I'm looking to replace all 8 of my trailer tires. 2 of them really need to be replaced the other 6 are still good but figured it would be for the best to replace them all at the same time, dispose of the 2 bad ones and keep the remaining six for spare
