I am wondering if trucks can transport THC products in states where it is legal. I am talking about having it as cargo, not in the cab / for personal use. Just curious because even though it is legal in half the country, I know the fmcsa is against cannabis and it is still federally illegal. I’m sure Canada has different regulations since it is legal there.

I dont think any one producer harvests enough to need a 53 trailer.
A small cargo van would be enough to stock any store -
You’d be surprised there are huge distribution centers

I hauled a load of hemp from OR into CA. No big deal but had to go through some paperwork at the CA port of entry.
Paperwork was mainly for letting the receiver know that it had to be quarantined for a certain amount of time.
Thought about sweeping up the remnants in my trailer and putting it in my bong..unfortunately I didn’t have a broom

Yah, you’d probably have to smoke a whole bale of the stuff to get a buzz..either that or you’d die of smoke inhalation before said buzz

Been a few years but I think it was for bugs..also want to say that the state had to inspect it but I can’t say for sure. -
Do a quick Google search for
trucker arrested for legal weed
Some of the articles are from 2019 but gives you an idea of challenges even if you are legal. -
Every article I see about a trucker getting arrested is from a state where weed isn’t legal for Recreational or medical use, such as Texas and Idaho. I was more thinking about in-state shipments in legal states.
