Dealing with a True North Warranty issue now. They are trying to skip out on the repairs for my injectors for reasons I can't explains cause I'm not a diesel mechanic. Here is the email I received.
"Thank you for submitting your estimate and associated information. You have identified the initial cause of failure "The injectors have become unseated from the stainless cups and were chattering causing air to get into the fuel system." In accordance with the limited Warranty Agreement, section K, subsection i, “Damage resulting from the failures of related components but not limited to: …injector seals, cups or tubes…[is] not covered.” Therefore, the claim for repairs for VIN AN291899 is non-covered."
Now there was another comment saying that these shops and dealers more than likely work with these warranty companies to stiff people on repairs. I believe this to be true cause the shop could of done a better job of writing up the problem instead of catering to the asinine bagering of the warranty companies questions aboit what failed and what caused the failure. Its a total racket and best believe I wont fall for it again. This is my first truck and because it was old with alot of miles they was hesitant to let me finance it with out the warranty. In the next following days if I can get the problem resolved I'm gonna take my truck to an outside machanic and let him do the repairs for probably a fraction of what the shop wants to charge me. I'll never call for a 3rd party warranty scam again. Luckily I save my money and can afford to have the truck repaired. This is a valuable lesson to every one, like the other comments said, pocket that money you was gonna spend on a warranty and put it up to use how 'you' see fit, cause these warranty companies are a scam and will drive you oit of business if you are not careful.

I know this an older thread but I have a 2015 Freightliner with 736k miles. I bought it with 665k miles. I was told to purchase the NTP for $6000 for 1yr. It was figured into my monthly payment. Thankfully I haven’t had to use it. I get a call today from NTP saying it expires on 4/17/24 and If I want another 1yr coverage it will be another $6k Here’s my question though. If it’s figured into my loan payment and it expires on 4/17 shouldn’t my loan payment decrease? I know it won’t decrease but how is it that my payment stays the same yet I no longer have a Warranty after 4/17/24. Was the $6k amortized over the entire 3yrs of my loan? For some reason I fell like I’m getting Royally Screwed!!!
