Ya don't even notice that feeling if you're paying for those 10 new tires... the sore feeling in the place you sat down on offsets any other feeling :D

Been there...I kind of miss my W900, until I see the prices of fuel, tires, and well... everything else.

I haven't gone west in frickin years, but apparently I'm going tomorrow. Will be a 41,000lb load. I've always avoided I-70 west of Denver. Heard there's nothing out there. Going to Victorville, would you go on 70 or 80? 80 is an hour more in transit time.

    IH9300SBA Thanks this.

It’s really 6 of 1 half dozen of another IMO If the weather is decent, or you can go the “Southern route” 54/I40/I15

    bzinger and IH9300SBA Thank this.

Going over the mountains on 70 kinda sucks but it's a beautiful drive. 80 is really boring to me. I would run 70 unless the weather is bad and then I'd follow the southern route as runningman suggested.

    IH9300SBA and DonRobbie Thank this.

That’s why I don’t like getting new drives in winter, always feels like they’re breaking loose.

    IH9300SBA and cdavis188 Thank this.

Or you can run I-35 to I-40 to I-15. Timewise, it's about a wash. Plus you wont have to go through Great Bend, Liberal, Guymon, and Dalhart. Each of those has the potential to be a REAL pain in the butt.

I actually took 70 last time because 80 was a mess. I was also only hauling 15k lbs of TV’s. It honestly depends on the weather, but i usually take 80 because it’s easier ground to travel over

    IH9300SBA and DonRobbie Thank this.
