What 2 lane roads???
I-86 to I-88 to Exit 24. Then across 20 to your 99.
That is more than 5 hours away BTW.
No 2 lane roads on that. I do it all the time lol, not many more miles and no tolls.
Since you do not have to pay tolls then it is your call.
It is 354 miles going on I-90, and 380 miles going on I-86(rt-17)

Yeah I can do that... on the map the 20 looks like 2 lane road. either way I need to stop somewhere somewhat close to my 99 for my 10 (or at least my 8 hr line 2). I get 9 hrs at 0001 on 4/5 to make it to my 99 so im in good shape. where to meet? im not from this area.. i just know the pilots and TAs that my GPS tells me about...
.

I do not know if we will have time to meet anyway, I was just commenting on your route.
There is a truckstop at the exit before 88 hits 90, it is a small Pilot, I do not think you will make it that far though. It would be close.
No others are within 40 miles of the 90 on 88.
Your best bet would be the pike, lots of service plazas in that area.
If you go 86 though my truck is at the jamestown exit in a quick fill parking lot north of the interstate. Small truck stop with 6 spots lol.
If you want to meet up for some coffee in the morning let me know, I will send you my number and I can take a ride up to my truck. -
Yeah i better stay on the 90... not enough hours in the day to make it someplace safe to stop. Maybe next time.

cause now i remimber why i got out of bodywork before its still slow noones getting their cars fixed my hands are starting to stay dry cracked and bleeding again from the dust and chemicals, knees ache from standing on concrete floors all day, the insurance cos have droped their total loss threasholds to 60% of the vehicles value so you will buy a new car to help out the manufactures so less cars are getting fixed and to top it off i have found myself to be drinking a lot more. so i kinda figure being in a truck is the best place for me till this whole economy turns if it ever does. and yes that seattle deal is a solo run taking pine plywood on a flatbed and bringing back cypreess or redwood. they also have a team run out that way that is furiture and bringing back fish. just gotta make my mind up on what i want to do now thanks for the info Chrome -
Detention center because the inspection bay LOVES red tagging trucks. and the shop sometimes takes forever to fix it.

Good luck with whatever you decide 1Bad.
Some days I wish I had time to drink more lol. But if I am driving within 24 hours I will not.
I will look around on some other sites and see if I see anything on them. That would be a nice solo run.
According to their web site they require 24 months experiance. I cannot remember what you have.
Also they have started a fitness program. So they may start one of those stupid BMI requirements for hireing. I know a few have.
I have not had a chance to check rip off report or anything yet.Last edited: Apr 4, 2010

Here comes Peter Cottontail, hopping down the bunny trail.....Hoping everybody is having , at least, a decent Easter. I'm at my 1st drop in Denver, PA. Seem to be the 1st truck to show up. This place is out in the middle of nowhere. Thank goodness I've got food with me and a nuker.

We could feel the shaker up here in the San Bernardino mountains, wonder if this will disrupt the flow of produce into Yuma coming across the border?

The 6.9 outta Baja? We felt it for a good minute or so at least down in Carlsbad.
