I pull a bulk tank (non food grade) for a small company and I have several friends that work for them doing local. They like the
they say the pay is ok but they have plenty of work all non food grade(mostly cement and limestone And some sand). They recently went over to electronic logs and they may make you work a sat or sunday if you have the hours. They also have some van work out of big lots in tremont. I have considered calling them a few times myself I would say go for it they seem like they would be better than where you are now. Good luck driver on whatever you decide and keep us posted -
I've been working for them for 3 weeks now, running cement and flyash local. Decent people, casual atmosphere. Good pay. You work on percentage of revenue, and cement lds are good pay. You work, but I find it much less tedious than flatbedding. A very good move, I think, if you want local. For regional work though, I strongly recommend Kreilkamp Trucking, they have great pay, run reefers, tons of miles, apu's, and throw in as big a power inverter as you please. just tell them that under no circumstances will you take Jeff for a driver manager. I hate that little boy with a passion! They also allow dogs. Good luck!Ps its home weekends if you prefer
