Well, let me just say, there is no simple question in trucking, and what did you expect? Yes, we tend to be opinionated, but we're not axxhoxxs. The fact you had to make light of that, tells us, it doesn't matter what we say, you'll find fault. If you can't find out what you need to know from this group, you won't find an answer, and then yes, I'd move on. We have some of the most absolute experts in the field here, due mainly from experience. Sometimes, you have to get past the grumbling, and listen to what these folks say. I have no experience with your situation, but seems to me, Amazon is big and will remain big for years to come. I'd stay put. Good luck.

Last year cleared 262k with working some Saturdays. I like the fact that I don't have downtime waiting to find loads on loadboards and don't have to pay for fuel. The downside is I signed the 5 year contract before covid. Truckers that signed the contract durring covid got about15 to 20% more then I did.

Amazon pays for my fuel. I still have to cover cargo insurance, food, truck maintanance and the rest of the normal expenses

262k on 1099, or 262k net after all expenses?

    Rideandrepair and exhausted379 Thank this.

Depends on what you mean all expenses... 262k is what I cleared last year. I didn't have to pay a single penny for fuel. However I still got all the normal expenses like anyone else the only difference is I don't have to pay for fuel and that helps out big time saves a ton of money

I am clearly not bright enough to understand this conversation. I do apologize.

    Questions about trailer tire replacements?

In this post, you stated you are ‘new to the game’ asking about trailer tires.

Here, you said you’re at the end of a 5 year contract with Amazon, and I can’t decipher what you mean by ‘net’.

    I am quite confused.
