I couldn’t do it. Phoenix is too busy of a town. I failed my first day becuz I was too scared to get on the freeway.
-
I refuse to put myself and someone else’s life in danger when I feel unsure of trying to put a big 14 foot trailer and truck into a lane with bumper to bumper traffic. I’m pretty sure it would not end well

I started with Schneider and after school spent only 10 days out with my trainer. I was scared of everything for a whole year. I drive those same roads and situations today with such ease, I think back and chuckle.
As for those right turns, one of the things they taught us was anyone can drive a bobtail, you learn to drive that trailer. You'll be fine; honest. -
You’ll do fine. Before putting the truck in gear, take a deep breath, go over the responsibility at hand. If it’s any consolidation, I’ve been at this for 40+ years, trained for 10 of those years, and told every new driver I had the pleasure of training, you are the captain of that ship, you are the responsible party driving that truck, what you say goes. Drive within your comfort level, not someone else’s that’s sitting in an office 800 miles away. Oh, one last thing, after all these years, I still learn something new everyday. Good luck, you’ll do fine.TB John and motocross25 Thank this.

Krystle I’m talking to May right now. Would be awesome if you could pop back on & tell us if you’re still there and how you like it.
