Are all the connections tight, and waterproof?
How's the battery connections?
Are the ground connections good and tight?

Check your brake pressure switch. On my DD There's a brake pressure switch in my air manfold next to my leg. When you press on the brake pedal It closes the circute and lites the brake lites. Or start back tracing your brake circute to see if theres a short. I don't truck dealers. The last time I let touch my Dodge ram she started to run like crap. Then I found someone clipped to spring In my VFO. Repalce and ran great. Dealer wanted $3,000 for a new VP7100
