I also did flatbed running 48 states & Canada. No complaints about that either. That was with paper logs. I prefer night driving, so if I had a load that required wide load flags, I'd take the flags off at night and put them back on at sunrise. I didn't do any loads that required an escort.
Dry van vs flatbed for a fairly new driver?

There’s something else to think about as well my dm contacted me and told me in two weeks he would like me to be a trainer. I’ll have enough miles and that I would get a ten cent raise from 40cpm to 50cpm an that I would be paid for all the miles myself and my trainee drives, better longer loads not like this one I have. Pi&i still is looking good to me though for the more money than I make now an probably about the same a trainer would make and home every weekend instead of once every three weeks
Albertaflatbed, bryan21384 and Chinatown Thank this.
