Thanks for the comments guys. I will read up on your suggestions. I really
want to do this. I just don't want anything more to do with retail
management. On another note, just when I was about to call CRST and
decline the offer, the rep calls and leaves a message saying that it will not
work. Reason being. Because of my military reserves status they don't think
it will work. I couldn't believe that. But I wasn't even worried after what all
I have read.
Is any one going to Richfield for the Apr. 5th class?

Kennkenni, good thing you already were getting ready to decline them, But at the same time that is crap. Declining due to your millitary status. Isnt that descrimination? I was always told that a place of employment cannot refuse employment do to millitary status. that just sounds like a very unfair company. Would explain why alot of people are unhappy with them. Dont know if you are in the area for roehl but I have heard alot of good things about them. maybe worth checking out.

Just want to send a Happy Easter out to everyone. Especially all of you on the road that are not able to be home with your families.

CRST were al about me till I realized they were teams only... Said enough and moved on. I'm really enjoying the posts on here. Seems my choice isn't made yet. I think I have narrowed it down between here (if approved) and Roehl. Looked a little at Stevens as well. Looking forward to get out there. So keep the insight coming mceheel.
I live near I90 in Erie Pa what do you guys think the home time will be like for me? Do any of the companies I mentioned travel up this way a lot? I swear I've seen the Millis trucks on 90 a bit. Staying east of the Mississippi sounds like a great fit. -
yes millis travels thru I90 alot should be able to get home every other weekend pretty easily.

Well I got the first week in. very informative. Everyone in the class seems to be keeping up and doing very well. Met alot of truckers at the teminal and they all were pretty cool. They all had good things to say and good info as well.hopefully the training for all that are on the road with there trainers is going well to.

Hindsy, They make accomadations for you at the super 8 in richfield. they pay for it up front and you pay them back at the rate of $10 per week out of your check when you start driving. Hope this helps.
