Yeah, they have a good size terminal in Woodstock, ON. When I spoke to one of their terminal managers he was trying to sell me a story back in the Fall of 2022. Glad I was skeptical about them because a TFI Group
subsidiary company I waa going to lease onto. Had a o/o who just left 'Day & Ross' because of shorten pay settlements sometimes not being paid at all! He said they had a load from Calgary, AB going to Halfiax, NS then reload to Corner Brook, NF back to Calgary, AB but the reload was canceled both ways with 3 extra days for both waiting times. When he went back empty from Corner Brook to Calgary, they promised him a reload back home to Milton ON. But it too fell through. He said it was around 11k miles and he only got paid 1/2 of the initial trip to Calgary around $1800 all going to fuel plus he was out an extra $10k CAD Fuel. I'm like wtf??... He just seemed calm and said this is how it is sometimes as a O/o in Ontario and smiled. The best money to be made imo is in the Usa especially because the currency rates, so I can understand why Mexicans Carriers are working along the Texas border.

All southern border states have Craigslist ads which say they will hire B1 visa holders and drivers with Mexican federal licenses [their version of a CDL]. This has been the case since I started driving in 2014.

Driver pay in Texas and Arizona has always lagged behind the national average because of the number of drivers who are Mexican nationals with Mexican driver's licenses. There are many warehouses and manufacturers on the border who have dual-nationality owners. They dominate the local freight market and almost all loads leaving and entering the border area.

    This is old news...

He sums it up in this video. Says it due to the current Government occurrences as to why Mexicans are hauling freight near the Texas and Arizona.

The open border policies of Biden.

    In 1980s?????

Bush was in charge when I started driving.

Nafta started in the early 90s

But it's the current governments fault.

I don't blame the Canadian or Mexican companies, we all bend the rules from time to time, but I do blame the agencies that are supposed to be watching for things like this, and enforcing the rules they are supposed to enforce.
But I guess that is asking for too much.
