After carefully adjusting the 12’ airlines and pigtails with the heavy black plastic rap ($300 at petro) I finally got it to work just fine even in a right turn jackknife.
I had to unwrap the plastic off 90% of the thing to shimmy the power cord back toward the trailer about a foot. Then I had to rewrap it minus about a foot on the truck side so they move freely. I had to use a single spring 25” hanger and the 20” hanger I already had. The double hanger was pulling too hard when stretched. The single 25” is strong enough to keep the cords off the catwalk when straight and stretches easily when in a jackknife right turn. The single 20” really just makes it look neater and I already had it so I used it.
Thanks for everyone who chimed in even though you were all wrong![]()

They look exactly like what's already on the truck.
Is refrigerant Chinese also? The containers look exactly the same.
That fast food I eat on the way home. I'm spending 50% less then last year. Are we eating Chinese grown food now? -
Catfish raising folks in MS can tell you the day the Vietnamese "catfish" came to US. Seems product was cage fed in bamboo enclosure off side the deck where you sat to relieve your bowels. More efficient than Chinese, natural drop delivery vs toting it in a bucket up to the rice paddy.4wayflashers Thanks this. -
The Tectran 12’ rubber airlines and pigtail with heavy protective wrap and one hanger costs about $270 on Amazon. I see a lot of similar looking kits on there for around $120 and the cheapest brands are around $100. If the dealerships are selling quality “kits” for $80 I would think that is indeed a great price.
Something that gets so much use and is out in the weather and bouncing around while supplies air and power to the trailer is not something I want to cheap out on.JolliRoger Thanks this.
