Should i buy a box truck?

who in the hell wants to work 15 hr's a day. that = more fuel burned more wear and tear on the truck adding more expence

 

Nothing wrong with a 15 hour day as long the pay is OK.

 

And that's the problem, the pay is not what you would think.
To the OP ...
A van, cargo van back in 2000 was making what some are making today in a semi - $3 a mile.

But that was then.

Now for a long time, some people think they can get into a van or a cargo van and make junior Big Bucks, while it really a race to the bottom - just watch shipping wars on youtube, that's how it works now - the cheapest gets the work.

 

Wish I knew about sprinters back in 2003 I would have done it in a second. Now better be in full size truck

If you can get on with Amazon they pay around $1.96/mile for boxes.

 

Panther is a hard life to live. You sit around most of the time waiting and doing nothing.

 

I remember the cargo vans did real well. Could hardly get out of sight of one anywhere in the USA.
