If you dump the air bags, back under the trailer until the fifth wheel is just under the front of the trailer, STOP, air the bags back up, then back up until it latches!
No cranking of the Dollie’s is necessary unless you just like to work when you don’t have to!
WORK SMARTER NOT HARDER if that’s even possible?

OP could probably just stand there and talk to his dollies until they crank themselves up out of boredom.

Oh no. I see another thread called “Is it ok to load/unload a trailer while parked jack knifed?

    I've done that before too.

But usually I just get out of the truck and dolly the trailer up. It's not like it is some horrible burden to dolly the trailer up an inch or two.

I agree. But the time wasted cranking up the trailer could be used as drive time.

If I dump the air bags and back up to a low trailer, I might back up too far or not far enough. I get more precision by hopping out of the truck and raising the trailer up.

I can get out of the truck and crank the trailer up an inch and then get back in the truck all within 30 seconds.

Your way is not superior to my way. Your way is just different than my way.

Never said it was superior. But you sure seem to think everything you do is superior to everyone else. You proved that by boasting about your IQ. But yet, you ask questions that boggle everyone’s mind.

I've never boasted about my IQ.

However, I have mentioned my IQ at least twice on this message board. The first time someone else said my IQ has dropped since i first started posting here. The second time i mentioned my IQ because someone asked me how i know that i am intelligent.

There's no point in boasting about one's IQ here because anyone can say their IQ is any number, and there is no way for others to verify it.
