Hi everybody, it's time to put my dream into reality.

I am a free spirit, world traveller and survivor...Life is an adventure, and I have seen many different ways to live it. My life has turned out completely the opposite than I thought when I was young but at 45 I have come to realize that I am conditioned to be constantly on the move. It started when I was 7 years old and was gone from my family most time of the year. At age 16 I lived completely on my own, 800 miles away from my family in a foreign country. Something always pushed me forward to see the world. I have travelled and moved across continents, relying on God alone.

These days I am checking out some schools here in Phoenix.

Looking forward to meet YOU and make new friends in this forum. Thanks.

Thanks, I know all about cold and rainy as I'm living in England!
I don't really know Germany, though I have friends not too far away, (in Groningen, which must be about 100 miles west of you?) so I'm guessing its not too different.

A bit warmer in AZ though!

I get you about being on the move, I've never lived anywhere more than about 5 years. Always wanted to be in the military, or work on cruise ships, (I'm an RN), but never got to do either as I'm also a parent!

And God is the best traveling companion out there!
Sounds like you should be writing a book about your travels!

Oh yes YOU know what I'm talking about, I understand England weather :biggrin_25525:....by the time your umbrella is open you're already wet! That's right Groningen is pretty close to Bremen. I like the Netherlands....I like England....life is too short to explore all these places! Of course children put your life in a different perspective than travelling... it never happened to me that's probably why I kept moving around.

    How old is your kid?
You could be a travelling nurse on cruises, that's a great idea!!

My boy is almost 17, another year and a half and he will be heading off to university!
I would love to work on a cruise ship, always wanted to, either that or an OTR driver.
But hubby already drives OTR, he would go mad if I wasn't home when he 'visits'!
Maybe we will end up team driving, I don't know, he doesn't like the idea, so I guess I'll have to stay working near home.
