I only do it if I am in a situation where if I don't do it, I will be waiting all day and making the traffic behind me wait all day.

So like I said impatient, explain that to the lawyer and the judge when someone uses your trailer to turn their car into a convertible.

I stop traffic for 10-15 minutes on Lamar Ave all the time while I'm taking my turn

Well, I also only do it when the traffic from the left is either stopped at a red light or at least 300 yards away. If a motorist cannot see my trailer and stop from 300 yards, they shouldn't be driving anyway.

Edited to add: if they turn their car into a convertible, they would probably also turn their body into a body with no head attached to it lol

Wait what? Two threads at a time now!? I'm gonna have to cancel my evening plans for this one.

@88 Alpha can you merge these two threads together to make it easier for us?

Wow! All the time? Is this a right hand turn? To my knowledge, I have only done this once on a right hand turn before. And you block traffic for 10 to 15 minutes? That's another WOW.

With me, I only wind up blocking traffic once I am in the middle of the street for a maximum of two minutes.

P.S. Is Lamar Ave in Memphis, TN? Lamar Ave sounds familiar to me, and my mind associates Lamar Ave with Memphis.

Maybe you should just avoid oak street. It seems to be the source of many of your problems! buttonhook 2-1.jpg Left hand turn --- the truckers report-1.jpg

That's why you wait until the traffic from the left is either stopped at a red light or at least 300+ yards away to do it.
