sorry i am not spending thousands to run how people want me to run go where people tell me to go and so on. there is the freedom aspect of the job also but it comes with a hefty price

how new are you? here's an idea become a company driver for a year to see even if you like trucking lean how to run the truck like a business!!! and if you loose your prime lease truck you also loose what ever equity you have in it and i am sure they will find things to charge you for so they can bend you over the barrel without the grease!!!

i wanted to entertain myself i read it was 23k down plus whatever options you wanted you needed to pay for up front. screw that that would be a decent down payment on a used truck!!! from what i been hearing payments are around 1,400 to 1,600 a week plus fuel and whatever else they screw you for!!! that's more than a mortgage

DO NOT DO IT YOU'LL GET BENT OVER THE BARREL WITHOUT THE GREASE IN THE END AND YOU WILL LIKE IT!!!! plus you won't get the company bennies like health ins. you'll be a window licker paying there bills while you think that you'll own a truck that you'll never see!!! you'll be miserable also. one more ways these companies keep the churns low is by making drivers thinking there going to own the truck and it's another way they can move cheap frieght. if you wanna buy your first truck get your year in if you don't have it yet then apply at lone mountain truck leasing. a brand new truck payment is half of what prime gets though it's 30k down for that one. they have cheaper options to...

You're not involved with ANY small business dealings.
You're just a basic 1099 with higher payments then if you bought your own. Although 20% is usually required. Depending on your credit.
