Sounds minor... until the battery runs down.. Dead.. again!

I don't know what else to check... tried all switches, key on/ off/ Acc.
Just the cab clearance lights stay on at a dim level not noticable in the day only at night.
I am keeping a battery charger hooked to it because i have to work in the morning .
    will entertain any suggestions.
    Thanks!!

Try removing the clearance light fuse while your shut down until you can get it fixed.

LED lights even five of them at a dim glow arnt gonna kill 4 batteries overnight. You have deeper issues. It may be related though so a good place to start digging.

It might be helpful to know what kind of truck.

Use a light tester to check the pins on the pigtail to the trailer. If you're getting current with everything off, then disconnect the pigtail from the truck and check the pins on the back of the truck.

Still getting current where the pigtail connects to the truck, go under the hood and disconnect the pigtail from the fuse box and check it there.

I only suggest this route because once my parking lights wouldn't go out with my keyswitch on and it was because the pins on the back of the pigtail receiver on the trailer were corroded and the constant on power from the ABS was jumping over and back feeding up through the electrical system .

I just went from LED cab lights to incandescent, because the LED’s were flickering and 1 or 2 would get dim. I couldn’t fine replacement insert’s, seems the whole cab light was one whole piece. So I changed the guts out and made them for a 1156 bulb with watermelon Glass lenses. My question now, I want to go with the LED bulb replacement type, which LED bulb is the way to go, referring to the 1156 type or do I need a smaller type. I’m trying to draw less current is my target but keep them bright.
