The Truckers’ Report flatbed Hall of Shame.

Been awhile since I hauled a bike, but I would always hook a strap to each side of the front forks, and one or two straps to the frame in the rear, depending on what's available to hook to. But the front straps do most of the work the way I do it.
The front wheel guard is basically just to keep it from rolling forward, it won't do anything to keep it upright.

Can't say that I've ever seen it done like in the photo above. I hope he gets it home in one piece.

 

Passing through the Monticello, UT Port of Entry earlier and saw this boo-boo.

 

Looks like the ex-wife sat down on the trailer.

 

I bet this looks great going down the road. It’s a friendly tarp job, it waves at everyone.

 

I have seen much worse.

 

Now that is a message that all Brits of a certain age will appreciate.

 

I always just put one on each side of the handle bars. Trailered just fine like that
