How exactly? The carrier only offers basic coverage for bobtail/non trucking and I have to govern my truck at 65mph.
My insurance covers everything I described plus I can keep my truck higher than 65mph plus if my truck breaks down I have an option to rent a truck until fixed and my insurance company covers it.
Personally, I got the better deal
Can I operator a MC Number while running under a company so I can get enough to get any load?

NTL/Comp/general liability, sure. But if leased to a carrier you're under their policy, whether they charge you separate or in the %
Not under their policy is pretty shady, outright against FMCSA regs. -
No. No it's not. Even I know that
-
How much do you pay total for insurance for one year?
-
I understand completely, it’s just bizarre what the OP is saying.
-
Ok ok. I pay $452 a month for my insurance
-
I don't believe he has the auto liability, just the NTL/Comp/General.
-
Okay, that sounds about right for bobtail insurance/ non trucking liability.
-
What you describe here is not the liability insurance.

I know I need a mentor! Someone please! My husband has the CDL but I'm the one who does the paperwork. We just bought a 2015 Mack and it's sitting in the yard because I don't understand/know how to get a tag. It's all confusing. First time owning a truck. Now he's driving for a company and not making any money. He's driving their truck.
Concorde Thanks this.
