HE HAS SEEN THE LIGHT!
He finishes his training at CR England on Friday, goes in for his final "upgrade" and he's coming home for some time... and possibly not going back. It took the lady at the office saying everything nasty but "F* you" to his trainer about a dedicated run for them... and now he's decided *finally* that he's going to look for a job somewhere else, instead of getting tied up in the lease bit.
Swept off in a hurry... daddy's gonna be a ... trucker?

Best of Luck to you!!!!! -
Well... although he didn't want to sign a lease, they pretty well gave him no choice. They kept him at the school over a week, which meant no pay and he used what was left of his last from the training to get food and such on... So they take him in the office and he's pretty well told "Sign a lease.... OR... Go start begging for the money to get home."
As much as he didn't want to sign... how was he going to come up with money to send home, stay out of Jail once he got home (for not paying child support) and all that... So... he signed a lease.
The good news is... with the runs he's making so far... he is paying his child support... so he WILL stay out of jail. The bad news is... he has only had enough 1 week to send home anything for rent and utilities, let alone the needs of 3 little girls and their mommy. No phones now... we hear from him when he can stop long enough to call my roommates phone, and only then when she's home.
Her husband just started to train phase 2 for CRE. He's convinced that if my hubs doesn't want to keep the lease that eventually they will team up and then there will be more money to bring home. I'm not so convinced, but hey... what do I know. -
Ok... like soo many others that turn over with this company, he's finally talking about actually doing it. I'm glad. He's actually considering taking on a vendor-stocker position with the companies my mom holds contracts for, after he gets himself out of the red and into the blue with CRE. He's been home for about 8 days now, putting him behind roughly $1k. So, a run through CA and maybe one additional, and he'll be turning the truck in and bussing his way home.
The vendor stocker position will give him a chance to look for full-time employment that's a bit more closer to home. Here's hoping that something good comes out of this and they actually give him his money he's paid into his lease reserve and maintenance account.
kickin chicken Thanks this.
