    I'm wondering if Dan Rather is working on this right now. Kind of an undercover reporter kind of thing. He did some good stories on rookie training, but the ideal eye opener would be to send someone in to go through the "system". (And I don't think that Howie Mendell would work in this case ):biggrin_2559:

It is extremely expensive and time consuming to hold open call auditions around the country so it makes more sense to put posts on forums where we can find REAL truckers - not actors or lame people.     Brooklyn-Queens Expressway during rush hour. Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn during rush hour. making right turns with both steer tires on a sidewalk and stopping to get pedestrians to back up so you dont run over them on the other sidewalk. That was this morning for me. Pretty extreme.

    I met Hugh in real life lol he just seemed like a regular "old timer" trucker to me. We mostly #####ed about layovers.

    Just wondering, where did you meet him. I saw Drew's son posting Youtube comments and he said that the producers told his Dad to act like a dumbarse. Basically each trucker had a "role" to fill.

    I'm pretty sure this is real there are a few of the truck drivers on You Tube getting calls from this guy " I think it's the same guy anyway they just said Andrew "something" " anyway one of them is about to head out to make a show or whatever in a week or so.
