Tampa port, no TWIC

I’m not sure you can do that. They have port pass you can get for $20, but not sure it’s applicable to CMVs.

I used to bring trailers out of the port to their staging area when one of my co-workers that didn’t have a TWIC was picking up at the same time I was.

 

Was $100 for New Orleans port.. that was a couple years ago, I had one, just heard the cost, probably about the same.
Sometimes waited 2-6 hours had 1-2 people riding in cab for 10-20 trucks without Twic

 

Been their a dozen times no twic just sign in at the office

 

Not hard to get the twic .
Just get it .

 

Hi, don't know if you I still online or not but if so do you happen to know if the no TWIC card thing at the Tampa Port is still in effect? Also is it a problem for a convicted felons? Thank you or if anybody knows thank you

 

I’ve only been once and was a little surprised they never even asked if I had a twic. Never mentioned escorts either. Iirc they just told me where to go when I got back around to the guards/gate after checking in.
