Scaling at a weigh station while it is closed?

I've had it happen but they just told me they were opening up and if my break was up I needed to go. it was so I did.

 

that app is a lifesaver. don't have to go inside get your weights right on your phone so it makes reweighs a breeze as well and they email you the scale ticket.

 

That is a different situation than what I responded to.
It sounds like they just didn't want a bunch of trucks sitting there if they didn't need to be.

 

I only pull into weigh stations that are closed to take my break. If you are not sure of your GW. Never do that

 

Some people seem to want to become a “victim”.

 

CAT will pay your ticket. Beware of weighing in Laredo. Scales all screwed up. I was actually confused. Reweigh didn’t make sense. Tried couple times. Changing. Confused. Then thought ok? Nope… ticket Oklahoma border. CAT paid it.
Advise…get away from Laredo before you weigh/adjust tandems.
