One thing I really liked about Opie was his keeping me going over the weekend when he could.

 

Yuck. What happened there?

 

Got a load out of the house on Tuesday. Delivered Wednesday morning. Sat until this morning. Picked up a 530 mile load that delivers Monday morning. Guess I will break the 1000 mile mark.
Got into it with dispatch. Have a student to pick up. IMO training is secondary. They need to be getting me miles and working me over to pick up trainee rather than have me sit until a load pops up that gets me directly to trainee.

 

That stinks bud. I start training in ohio on the 17th.

 

Cool you will be one of Bills last students. Make sure you are on time after 2 late arrivals he boots people from the class. Other than that he is funny if you can put with his sense of humor.

 

Thanks for the heads up. Can't afford that tuition so being late is not an option lol.

 

Between being home more, less unpaid waiting and more money I preferred being local or regional instead of OTR.

 

And so I started the class this a.m. Bill definitely has a different sense of humor. Good guy. Since I am the only 1 in the class its gonna be fun

 

Is Opie still there or has he retired too @MIT

 

I believe he will be gone by the end of summer. I will check and give you an update.
