Well, no one would ever ask @Opus to "Hold my Watermelon."

I had a interline and residential run to do today.

I took interline freight in a pup trailer and a liftgate pup loaded with about 7 deliveries down that way behind it.

I dropped the lead, backed it in, hooked up to the liftgate, ran the deliveries, came back, hooked up to the empty, banged the set together and went home.

    Sounds fairly uncomplicated, right? o_O

Well, you should’ve seen the look on my router’s face when I tried to explain that to him. You’d think I was speaking Chinese.

I don’t speak “Stupid” so the Ops manager had to translate.

Wonder how selling price 100K, I borrow 50K elsewhere on other collateral (if required) then, take them the 50K as down, they match, I have my driver take it home. Seems simple enough, like buy one half/get second half free.....

No. Ours would have to always be the tail, which today would’ve been the case anyway due to the load weights.

Started mowing @ 93°, finished mowing it was 68° with 70mph wind gusts and driving rain. Wife was yelling something about being an idiot and tree limbs, couldn't hear real good between the wind and mower. Now we have a Haz-Mat load flopped over on the interstate, probably LandStar.
