Otr is very unhealthy and a lot of us find out how unhealthy when we hit our late 50s and early 60s .
Regarding my comment about fcc I don't hold a grudge towards them , I just couldn't stay in the seat that long anymore with joint pain and inflammation, these companies like fcc are going to be in trouble soon wanting high productivity out of old drivers and young drivers for the most part wanting nothing to do with OTR when they can go into a trade with paid training and be home everyday and make more money with good benefits.
As usual the industry will cry driver shortage cause they have theyre heads buried in the sand .
From what I've seen out of hill bros so far OTR will never get me back .

 

I used to drive for a private carrier years ago and best job I ever had ! Unfortunately I screwed that up when I got a dui 24 years ago out celebrating my divorce lol.

 

Forgot to mention, my departure from Morehouse a year ago was a good plan and apparently I wasn't the only one noticing bad tudes from management.
Last Tuesday morning my outbound dispatcher there whom had been at Morehouse many years and was the major part of the fabric that held and kept drivers there sent an email a 5am announcing his immediate departure.
No idea where he went but I know he hadn't been happy for some time .
He will be very hard to replace and they will lose drivers over it ...had I still been there Ida been the 1st out the door !
