FCC--Fremont Contract Carriers

Going to a place called City Logistics in Carson down by Long Beach after dropping in Victorville tomorrow morning. It’s going back to Kearney. Anyone been there before? It’s a preload but it looks like a bear to get in to

 

That place looks like a puzzle. Lol. Maybe the Google image is old and it’s not as bad as it looks.

 

It's every bit as bad as it looks ... A lot of the time, they have you drop in the street and a yard truck drags it in. If there is a spot closer to the gate, they ask if you are comfortable even trying it. Last time I was there, I dropped my empty it in the first couple spots next to the guard shack. It took a 4 point turn to wiggle the load out of the spot it was in. Go in at night if at all possible.

 

Only been there one time, after my late night offload at GM Arlington. Glad the dock guy let me stay in the dock for my 10.

 

because i forgot that AZ doesn’t observe DST, i woke up one hour later than planned. Oh well

 

this is why you keep extra glad hand seals at the ready. Preloaded trailer was missing one

 

I hate when the glad hand seals fall out.
