Got a similar violation a couple years ago. It really depends on whether companies specify major violations or total violations. Some kind of view them all the same and some don't tolerate any unsafe lane change, following distance, etc., but will tolerate a few more minor ones. I didn't get cited however, so that might make a difference. Easier to fight a citation and DataQ it if you got a violation on an inspection as well.
If the rest of your record is clean, I wouldn't stress over it too much.
As far as your current company, I don't know. When I got mine, all I really got was told that I'd benefit from fighting it and don't do it again. And lost a month's safety bonus.hope not dumb twucker, nextgentrucker, tscottme and 1 other person Thank this. -
