A new chapter begins and a new home for the Morehouse/fcc orphans

My work week ends tmw and like you I'm all alone from Saturday morn to Tuesday night , the menu is all about me as well as my activities which won't be leaving the property anymore than nessasary for beer and food.

I cut out the delivery the thing , it's expensive and I have everything close to me now .

 

Fcc did me a favor when I passed on drinking they're Kool aid and they basically fired me lol.
I make more money at hill bros on a 50 hour week , home every night with Sunday and Monday off and have good blue cross and blue shield insurance with dental too at slightly less than fcc .
No road expenses and get paid for every minute of my day no matter what I'm doing .
Sat in a dock today for 3 hours and got paid for every minute of it .

 

I agree , I just slow down now and let the idiots pass me.
I love terminal fuel so no more fuel island bs at truckstops ...getting paid to fuel is nice too.

 

Who would have ever thought it would come to this as most of us started in the 80s ?
And loved the otr life
Now most of us that have been in this buz 30 years or so hate this job because of what it has evolved into .
No pride and no professionalism.for the most part ..
When I started at dart in 87 we wore uniforms and took pride in being a professional.
