Thanks everyone. Great info, ill be looking further into all it. Heading off to find out about funding now from VDC. Again thank you!
Chinatown Thanks this. -
After you choose a school, ask which companies the school uses to hire their students. Might have some local companies that we don't know about.
With the state funding, you'll have to attend an approved school. The list of schools on the website looks excellent.Last edited: Jun 26, 2024

@Chinatown asking local companies is precisely my other method of feeling this out, I appreciate the advice confirming this.
To all, any thoughts on companies that offer paid training? I assume this is likely a case by case thing, but we all know what they say.... -
Do you mean being paid while you're attending cdl school?
Or, do you mean, the cdl school is free if you sign a contract to work for the company after cdl school? -
Again, thanks for all your valuable help. -

I checked out the TMC Trucking Company and it all sounds great...dare I say too good to be true?
I've sent them my resume and contact info on your recommendation and my review of their site.
Anyone have any experience or knowledge to share on TMC training and employment?Chinatown Thanks this. -
The rumor that a driver will be fired for stepping on the grass at the terminal, has been officially debunked.
