What counts as On Duty Time? Passive income questions?

The younger generation won't even work 70 hours and they have been pampered their whole life & told their ideas are super-genius, no matter how mundane or cliche'. Just stay home & trade 24/7. He wouldn't be here trying to drum up business if he was making money doing it.

Me reading this thread, working a full time trucking job Monday through Friday and 60 to 70 hours on an ELD. Then having a second trucking job on the weekend running paper, going around portables so I don’t get busted because I got a level 2 last week.

 

Why would anyone log stock or crypto trading? Unless you are doing it as part of your job. It’s an income source but I assume closer to hobby than job. Scratching a lotto ticket could net you income but nobody logs scratching time when they win for $1000. If you’re making serious income why are you driving truck? Serious income might be different.

Now with that said if you stayed up all night trading and had an accident your phone records, computer records, everything will be retrieved and if you say sleeper at 11:30pm and it turns out you were up to 3:30am based on internet activity meaning you got no sleep? And this goes for anything. Stock trading or watching porn. Also don’t go far. If you say sleeper but your phone pinged 5 miles away? Dead meat. Say sleeper and you got a shower on your pilot app? Dead meat.

So use off duty, but the staying up all night stuff still applies.

 

People who spend all day alone can rationalize all kinds of ideas and no matter if those ideas are possible or impossible they never hear anything but what the podcaster, salesman, individual wants them to believe.

 

I've never heard RVT claim false information. I first started commenting on his YT videos because his advice was what I would advise newbies. I genuinely thought he was some old-timer until he mentioned he was new to trucking. When you have hundreds of people asking the same questions over and over, people too lazy to go watch a video put out last Tuesday but they will whine you should make a new video saying what you said in the video from last Tuesday, why not weed out the lookie-lews from the serious questioners? You are just mad he's successful. He is the real deal, I've seen his numbers. He was so successful he and his wife made enough in trucking to fund real estate investments and they don't have to truck any more.

I wouldn't listen to the losers scamming the VA and claiming PTSD from a job at the White House opening and closing doors for VIPs, but you would. Nothing surprising about that at all. Go sell a time-share will ya?
