Forward Air Bankrupt and Shut Down

I’ve seen it mentioned before

if a vulture capital equity firm company buys the business you’re working at , you need to start job hunting right now .
This is why years ago many public companies took on enormous amounts of debt,
To prevent hostile takeovers

but it seems forward air did this voluntarily

 

Forward Air SOLD a subdivision "US Logistics" to Ten Oaks group in 2021. That's THREE YEARS AGO.

It is "US Logistics" that went bankrupt NOT Forward Air..!!

I don't know why the op put Froward Air in the title because it has zero to do with them

 

Yes on trailer. He leaves his house and picks one up every weekday in SA around 7 pm and runs to DFW to drop and hook one back to SA. So very possible he runs 130.

 

Easy to get confused about that. I read one article that said it was Forward Air out of Greenville, TN, but the Greenville, TN company is LandAir.

Because most of the news articles made it seem like Ten Oaks bought Forward Air and renamed the corporation while still doing business as Forward Air. A closer reading makes it clear, but the wording is needlessly convoluted.
