New to TTR here. This is my first thread.
I own a truck and reefer trailer (I don't drive) in central South Carolina. I'm currently between drivers, in search of a new one.
What y'all think of 27% rate pay? That is, whatever rate comes to the truck for a load, the driver gets 27 cents of every dollar. For every load accepted, the driver would be emailed the rate contract, so he or she would know exactly what their pay for the load will be before a single mile is traveled.
Is that a fair rate? Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.
% of Rate Driver Pay - Is this number fair?

I used to pay 28% for hopper work.

You'd go broke faster at 35%.
Might save money in the long run -
Well you know, depends on the truck, weight, motor , and rates, put a pencil to it

Frankly, the percentage is meaningless unless you know the entire amount. 25 percent of 100 of not 25 percent of 1000. Get what YOU need and don't worry about everyone else.
