Again??? Holy cow! They need to get this under control over there.

What can you say.. do 65mph in Cali or Idle your truck and you bet you will get caught in a heartbeat...
Rob several truck drivers at gun point and beat some up and walk away.. LOL no money in catching them, it cost money to hunt them down....
Got to love it....truckerdave1970 Thanks this. -
It could easily be gotten under control.
1. Make one conceal carry class, and make it a federal law that all 50 states have to recognize it.
2. When these lowlife scums attempt to rob you, leave them laying where
they are. After a few of them laying on the pavement with their brains
splattered it will slow down somewhat.
3. Let all truckers who are legal to have a gun to be able to carry one no
matter where they go while on duty.
4. As far as carrying a gun in the truck, well had you rather be judged by
12 or carried by 6 ?truckerdave1970 and Freebird135 Thank this. -
A friend of mine drove a truck for years. He was in Chicago and a would be robber approached him and wanted his money. He said his money was in the truck. But really he knew he had his pistol in the truck and acted like he was getting his money and came out with his pistol.

People have been held up at gunpoint inside a bank. Anywhere you go, you might find somebody who has a gun. It is easier for somebody to get a gun than to get a high school diploma. Our country has to do something about gun control. These criminals can walk into a gun store and pick out their weapon. We put more money into the gun industry than we do into the security industry. How many millions (or billions) were spent on manufacturing weapons last year? And how much money was spent on trucking security? I think the only money spent on trucking security last year was the money spent on lost cargo. We make it easy for crooks to get a gun, then we are confused.....why is there so much crime? I can tell you why there is so much crime.....we are making guns for the criminals.

Haha! I've never needed a gun store to get a gun. Make all the laws you want, you'll just prevent yourself from being able to get one.

Criminals DO NOT get their guns from gun stores unless they are breaking in and stealing them. How naive can someone be. Criminals have records which prevent them from buying guns. The thugs get their guns from drug dealers and other street thugs that have stolen them. Many guns have been smuggled into the US the same as drugs.
An unarmed honest citizes is a target, not a deterrent. The only way to deter an armed robber is to shoot the SOB. I have had enough of reading about honest working people getting held up, and then shot for no reason at all. One scam around here is to call in a pizza delivery out to an empty house, then rob the driver at gun point. They should use a panel van full of armed men to deliver the pizzas, and when these low lifes try to rob the delivery guy, jump out and mow the robbing scum down. Now THAT is a deterrent to crime. At least those low lifes would never rob again, and I guarantee the next crooks would think twice before they tried anything like that.
As for gun control, the only effective gun control is being able to hit what you are aiming at.Last edited: Apr 12, 2010
kajidono and Freebird135 Thank this. -
Exactly!!!
I don't understand some of the extreme views of people regarding guns. I promise I'll never shoot another human being unless they are attempting to hurt me or my family! -
Not to mention it costs ALOT of money to prosecute and incarcerate REAL criminals, how much does an empty book of tickets cost to fill up??? Versus how much money those tickets will generate????
Also armed robbers tend to shoot back to avoid apprehension, truck drivers just lube up, bend over, and take the ticket! Much safer for the officer involved.
