Yeah I'm hoping I can get on with them. AirGas states they hire new drivers too but it says from an Accredited School. And all the Accredited schools near me have sucky schedules. Most wanted you to quit your job.
Anyone know anything about Jacobus Energy? (Jax Fl. location)

I spoke with 4 of their drivers for my nephew out of the Madison, WI terminal as they are contracted to fill our trucks. They all seem happy outside of the new guy woes and some 14 hour days when you make too many mistakes.
Keep in mind that you aren't getting CDL-A experience with them.Blagoje Thanks this. -

Honestly with a new'ish perspective to trucking i think the problem is how overweight and out of shape most drivers are. Tankers and fuel specifically require climbing to not only check, secure and seal your load, with Jacobus you will be climbing on an assortment of construction equipment to fill from my understanding.
Good luck to you. There are certainly worse employers to start with.Blagoje and JakeStateFaarm9324 Thank this. -
