Why do you need these toys.
Do you just enjoy pizzing off the rest of us.
Your toys and people who don't know how to properly use a cb is why most of us
don't even turn the dang thing on anymore. It is VERY annoying

I'm surprised Gadfly hasn't popped in here yet to put in his 2 cents on why one shouldn't have a noise toy.

 

I think what Pete was getting at is some, if not most, find noise toys to be childish and immature and one of the many reasons CB is referred to as the "children's band".

Last I heard a noise toy was 3-4 weeks ago during skip, sounded like a wild west theme and it went on for a few minutes after the radio was unkeyed. It got old rather quick.

 

Not that I like any of the noise toys, but to be fair the Tweety Bird is a type of roger beep. Its not a cartoon recording.

But hey, roger beeps are just about annoying as hell too so............

 

Roger beeps can be annoying. I don't really mind them and the last radio I had, had a roger beep option. A good friend of mine that is on the radio usually stays on 19 and that's how I know it's him. He uses a Stryker radio with a roger beep and if I ever here it, I know who it is. I didn't use mine that much when I had one because after you unkey about 3 or 4 times, it gets annoying.
