Curious, how often are you supposed to change the blinker fluid and drive axle lube?

I know of one x15 that got a new head at 175k. Peterbilt owned rental.

I know 2 x15's that had the same da** oil leak as their previous versions.

I'm in a paccar now and I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the motor. The trans however is now getting a new clutch. At 660k.

The dpf did get a new flex pipe though. And something else. No more Regens yet.

    I'll take paccar over cummins.

The biggest problem is elds plugged in. With any truck. That wreaks havoc on the computer system.

So I’ve had five of the x15s I held out kept my old cats and 566 Cummins as long as could. As didn’t wanna get a isx15 as they had huge issues so then in 2018-2021 I bought 5 trucks x15 565 and 1 truck had a x15 605.
Out of the 5 x15s 3 blew up within 15,000 hours all trucks never made it to 300,00” Kms beige blowing up. I had one go to 15,000 hours but sold it before anything happened to it.
1st at 2019 w900 Tridrive 8500hrs crank broke went through block. 200,000 kms
2nd 2018 T800 Tridirve at 13800 hours dropped a Valve and just did valve set at 11400 hours 260,000 Kms
    3rd 2019 W900 Tridrive 14300 hours dropped Valve. 250,000 kms ish
I changed oil every 250 hours.
I did deleted them all at 1500-2000 hours thinking this was best. Let them breathe better. Now I see these engines going to 18,000-22,000 hours before need rebuilds.
i never did anything to the 605 but after 200,000 in engines in 2 years im scared to buy another. 70,000CND per engine rebuild is a lot to shell out. That our of frame builds many crank was reused and block only.
I sold them all last July. Stuck in with my old trusted cat so far but thinking of getting more but unsure what to buy. Reliability for this Engines sue not like they sued to be.
My buddy got a 2023 tandem Pete (Paccar engine) made it 200 hours and blew up they replaced it and made it to 4300 hours blew up again they figured the computer was leaning it out or something. I also have a busy aware by the Paccars they save way way more on fuel basically save a truck payment a month he said compared to his Cummins. He does put huge warranty on it to 1.2 million Kms so he never has to worry about out of pocket expense. I’m told
Paccar engine warranty is better than Cummins.

    BobO1176 Thanks this.

I've been very impressed with the paccar I've been driving for the past 18 months. Just hit 677k. And still doesn't use a drop of oil.
