Ya, I already have a Verizon Mobil Hotspot in addition to an iPhone and iPad with data. I should look at replacing it with an upgraded 5G model with a higher data cap now that I’m running more on it and blowing through my 15Gb limit too quickly. It’s basically there for low use items like GPS and HomeKit items. Most of my data usage has been on the iPhone and iPad for now but that’s changing. Doing too much hopping around. Either increase Mobil Hotspot to a plan like yours, or play with the new tech of StarLink.

 

Is it that you don’t have signal or are throttled in such a congested area? I’m on Verizon and I have signal most of the time but when I’m setting in traffic for an accident or something and I have a lot of cars/trucks around me, I’m instantly throttled to the point of being almost useless at times because of so many folks tapping the same tower in mass.

One of the reasons I am considering the StarLink option to avoid the cellular footprint and congestion at times.

 

At the DG DC in Blair and I see what y’all was saying about the turn around. It’s a bit of an awkward setup but it does work except you end up checking in twice, then checking in with the receiving office, then end up dealing with the Lumper process. Not terrible but ya, it all could smooth out a bit.

Well not sure. I don’t use my phone while driving. It’s when I’m stopped, like on a 10 during the day and part of the evening night. Like 10-11 pm till 5-6-7 am is the only times in some places it works.

 

I went in my Verizon app last month and they had a deal to make your phone hotspot 100gb for $10/mo. I don’t recall the length of the deal for that price.

 

Well, my turn for detention.

After setting on the dock for a bit and then making lunch, and still no activity, I walk down for a status check approaching the two hour mark. Seems that while I did have a 1000 appointment, the TEN drivers still ahead of me had even earlier appointments… some as early as 0800… so they are still behind from the get go this morning… LOL
