My coolant reservoir decided it didn't want to live anymore so now I have coolant leaking everywhere. Going to try to get it fixed in the morning here at sapp bros or I will run to Freightliner to buy the part myself and fix it myself..

That’s one part i really haven’t had any major issues with. 750 hours on the APU and besides for a minor glitch when i first got my truck, absolutely no problems since.

Usually it’s the APU a/c that breaks in my experience, but this time it’s the other way around. The APU cools great, but i can’t drive my truck for any reasonable distance without the air conditioning quitting. I believe they’re two completely different systems though with their own freon and stuff. I think the only think the APU shares with the truck is the coolant

There’s a lot of our flatbed trucks i see pulling vans. Most likely just to keep them making money or get them back in a lane (or home in his case). Beats sitting around twiddling your thumbs

This van load is my get home load. I’ll have my flat back once I get back up to Nebraska after hometime.

I just had an issue where mine just decided to blow air from the bowels of hades. No reason. And then when it was pulled into the shop….it magically disappeared. The tech said it was an issue with the blend door. Had never heard of it. Guess it keeps the dial where you put it and not just where it wants to go. Have they checked that?

On these new trucks everything, like the blend door or the temperature, is controlled by a cab control module. Sometimes a simple software update is all it takes to correct the issue. But I’m guessing that Chris’ truck has a leak since it was low on Freon and worked for a while and then stopped again.
