I highly doubt it’s the blend door. The compressor itself just randomly stops working. It’s still somewhat cool if it’s not hot outside. I thought it was because it was low on freon but apparently not

Breakdown mentioned that some valve or another could be the culprit, and it’s something that needs to go to the dealership. Apparently my truck isn’t the only one that has had an issue similar to this. They told me that it only seems to affect the newer Freightliners we have

When it blows warm air, what does the dash ambient temp gauge read? It uses that calculation in the HVAC logic.

Well, my van load to Mt Juliet that was due to deliver between 7/28 22:30 - 7/29 22:30; I dropped and swapped this morning at 10:30a. Weekend dispatch sent a message across. “Go home, enjoy your time off” Big 10-4! Though I’m home 48hrs earlier than requested. Not going to complain too much, I may call in Thursday and see if they have anything in mind for me so that next week’s check isn’t $0

Well, heading to Cali… which is a pleasant change of scenery for me. Came out last night to get under it and fueled up at GI all ready to roll… two days out with DnH early Wednesday AM… woot woot …

    BUT…

was 800 over on drives, 1600 after fueling, (I had a feeling since the PSI on bags was borderline with Tandems pulled all the way forward.

It’s been a bit comical the hoops to jump through to help THEM to fix THEIR boo boo… grabbed lunch, status checked, still not reworked… oh well… it was a good PrePlan… until it wasn’t… LOL

Found a local bbq joint, lunch was good… might go back inside for dessert now.

Hoping everyone had a great weekend …

    stay safe

Got my truck out of the dealership. Apparently a transducer or some other sensor went bad and sent faulty data to my truck and it kept shutting off the compressor. Gonna take the company car to the grocery store to grab some stuff then i’ll hook to my Savannah load and head out. Shane will also give me a day of breakdown pay which is nice since i won’t be able to deliver this load until after payroll cutoff, so this paycheck will only have a little over 2600 miles on it vs 3900 miles. Oh well, #### happens

this happened west of where i live this morning. One lane reopened this afternoon. Driver of the fuel hauler was rushed to the hospital

“ A two-vehicle semi crash has prompted a stretch of Interstate 70 west of Salina to be closed.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, all westbound traffic on I-70 in Saline County is currently shut down due to the crash just west of the 244-mile marker exit.” IMG_3893.png IMG_3894.png
